Exhibition, book launch and performance/reading in Eindhoven at Onomatopee's new space.
Onomatopee is a publishing house and project space, and the publisher of the book; "Wilderness Survival -A Guide to the Aesthetics of Survivalism"
Wilderness Survival is a project about the survival of real or speculative dangers, which considers practical and philosophical understandings of the ‘survivalist’ lifestyle.
Wilderness: a physical space and a mental state.
Survival: a word evoking a disaster or a post-disaster scenario, caused by natural catastrophe, terrorist attack or sudden economic downturn, became unwillingly the philosophy of life and practice of many in the uncertainties of the 21st century.
During Dutch Design Week I was invited to do a exhibitioan and performance that would show devices which activate our physical and intuitive skills to deal with anxiety, stress, boredom and the danger of going bush-wacky in the wilderness of our lives.
