Behind the Exhibition building of HFKD there is a small piece of unused land. Here art has never been exhibited before. Nature has had free play to spread, and the children from the surrounding schools have used the area to play, and to build small hideouts in the wilderness. It's a little piece of wild nature in the city's otherwise controlled environment.
The House of Arts and Design has invited 5 Danish artists to work with the area and create art-works for this specific site. The exhibition INSIDE OUT is the result of their work. The artists work on a daily basis with different forms of art that can be defined as socially engaging art, land-art or art in public spaces.
The park is open to the public every day all days of the week!
